Subject: Meaningless questions

Here are some recent questions posted to start a thread on Lew Weinstein's blog:

"Who Was The Only Person In [Redacted] Spoke To About The Dried Aerosol Project?  Was the sample that Dr. Ivins says he was told was from Iraq — but wasn’t — actually from the dried aerosol project that had been launched at USAMRIID unbeknownst to Dr. Ivins? Who brought it to him? Where did it come from? Who worked alone on the dried aerosol project in Building 1412 and what does he or she say about the research? Was virulent Ames ever made into a dried powder in Maryland or Virginia?  Why did the FBI keep evidence of John Ezzell’s dried powder from the NAS?"

More questions from other threads in the same blog:

"Into what weapons did Yazid Sufaat attempt to load anthrax?  Why is Ivins’ polygraph not disclosable under FOIA?  Why doesn’t the FBI offer America a credible story? Why don’t we know who is responsible for the 2001 anthrax attacks?"

These questions pose some other questions:  If you do not expect anyone to answer your questions, why ask the questions?  Is it just to show ignorance?  How many thousands of such questions have you asked?  How many of the questions have been answered?  If you want answers, why ban people who might have the answers from answering?  If you are asking the questions of people who do not read the blog, who do you think will answer?

  1. Hmm. This morning I found 8 emails in my inbox from "DXer," who posts to this blog as "Anonymous." The first email contained a new "meaningless question":

Can you add something to your web site that is already on your web site?

Or, as "Anonymous" phrased it: "Ed, can you add the Friedlander and Welkos depos to your collection?."

They were already part of the collection I set up on March 4.

The email from "Anonymous" was time-stamped at 3:33 p.m. yesterday.

In my web site logs I notice he accessed those depositions yesterday at 5:40 p.m. So, does he think I added them in response to his request? Or did he happen to notice that they were already there?

  2. And now Ed, can you upload the Robinson, Lynn, Hawley, Arrison, Wade and Salerno civil depositions? Thanks.

    1. Also, Colonel Elliot's civil deposition, which previously was sealed.

    2. I don't see any links or files anywhere. Do you expect me to hunt for the links? I've got better things to do. These depositions seem of little or no value. But, I'll add them if you provide the links or files.

    3. If converted to a question, the latest nonsense from "Anonymous" would be yet another "meaningless question":

Why don't you upload depositions you do not have?

A perfect fit for the topic of this thread.

  3. Adamovicz, Andrews, Little, Worsham, Byrne, Friend, Welkos and Friedlander powerfully explained Dr. Ivins’ innocence. OTOH, not even your sister (contrary to what you say) agrees a First Grader wrote the Fall 2001 anthrax letters.

Nonsense. All they did was show how little they know about the evidence against Bruce Ivins. They have mistaken ideas about how the spores were made, they have mistaken ideas about how long it took, they have mistaken ideas about Ivins' motives, they have mistaken ideas about everything. And based upon those mistaken ideas they come to the absurd conclusion that Ivins couldn't have done it.

Ivins couldn't have done it they fantastical way they fantasize he couldn't have done it. But, it was EASY for Ivins to do it the way he actually did it.

I showed you emails from 31 people who agreed that a child wrote the letters. Yet, you cannot accept it. As with everything that doesn't fit your beliefs, you just close your eyes and pretend it doesn't exist.

Open your eyes and you'll see that Ivins was the anthrax killer. And, it doesn't make any difference what people who do not care about the facts believe.
